got the tank fillers and vents done on my engine so there now ready to be primed and painted.

Its a minor milestone i know but its the ending of a chapter for me anyway.

now i just gotta seal them properly, finish the outlets for the injectors and seal off 2 holes and then there mounted and ready for the painty mans brush.

i'm in 3 minds as to the colour scheme

ether black with yellow lining, as in there early orginal livery
gloss black br early crest unlined as there mid livery
or grubby black care warn look as ther most common livery

suggestions?
may even do a quick colour of the drawings to see what looks best.

also the smokebox parts are being cut as we speek so they will be taking shape in the workshop rather quickly i feel next week.

also started making a scale engine shed to put said engine in so the amazing lucy has done a marvelous job drawing up the architects drawings and im slowly working my way through them.

lots of micro riveting coming up though as i have to mark out and then drill and rivet the side valences on to the running plate. but that will come later as i require teh moneys for the valences.
and i just spent Far too much on the smokebox xO

if u want an expensive hobby, try model engineering, if thats to expensive, there is always throwing money into a pit of fire and crying :)

Ohh i also redid the small bunker tank coz i was unhappy with it and yeh now it has rivet details which i will upload to see the differnce.
its quite amazing the differnce it makes.
anyway
